About the job

As a Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving new customer acquisition and technical sales based on Micropower's product portfolio. You will focus on OEM customers and work with solutions within power supply systems – such as chargers, lithium-ion batteries, DC/DC converters, etc. Your battery knowledge is particularly valuable.

You will be part of the Swedish sales organization with a focus on developing your own customers within a region of our global market. You will be responsible for customer-specific strategies and building long-term customer relationships. You will establish broad contact points with both development organizations and purchasing organizations and other customer contacts, communicating naturally at all levels with our customers. The role includes the entire sales cycle: from planning and prospecting to booking and conducting customer meetings. We believe you appreciate working towards set goals in new customer acquisition, revenue, and margin.

You will collaborate closely with the sales manager, sales colleagues, application teams, and product managers, while also representing Micropower externally. The role involves being active at an early stage with the customer and driving business that creates long-term value.

The position is based in Växjö, but for the right candidate, Stockholm/Bromma or Gothenburg can also be considered.

You will report to the Regional Sales Director, Micropower Sweden AB.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of documented experience in technical sales to OEM customers (B2B)
  • Experience presenting technical solutions and their customer value
  • Experience in commercial work and contract terms
  • Experience creating and managing broad contact points with customers and driving relationship-based sales including new customer acquisition.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Additional experience we value:

  • Experience in technical sales of battery systems
  • International sales experience
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus
